Floom is a London-based curated digital marketplace that connects independent florists to customers across more than 125 countries. Founded in 2016, the company reported a 463% revenue increase over the prior 12 months and projected £5 million in sales volume for 2019. It is developing what it calls the floristry industry’s first vertically integrated SaaS offering to provide inventory management, a wholesale shop, website builders, POS systems, and seasonal trend data. The startup plans to use new capital to continue expansion in the US, enter an additional unnamed market, and further develop the SaaS platform. One investor from the round, former Just Eat CTO Carlos Morgado, is joining Floom’s board.
