Overview
FloWater builds new-tech water Refill Stations that connect to potable water lines and extract up to 99% of contaminants, including lead and chromium 6. The stations deliver chilled, purified water that is oxygenated, alkalized and revitalized with electrolytes and trace minerals, finished with a coconut carbon filter for taste. Incubated in Silicon Valley and operating across nearly 50 states, FloWater serves enterprise customers such as Google, Red Bull, Airbnb, prAna, O'Neill, PlayStation, Specialized Bikes and Stance, as well as thousands of hotels, gyms, schools and concert venues. Since launching in 2013, the company says it has eliminated more than 100 million plastic water bottles and has a stated goal of eliminating 1 billion by 2022. To support growth and its sustainability mission, FloWater secured external capital and strategic partnership to scale deployments. The company closed a material capital transaction in December 2018 to accelerate its mission and operations.
