Founded in 2023 by Siddhartha Srivastava, Bikesh Jha, and Vikash Singh, Flowatt Battery Science provides a pay-per-use Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform for last-mile delivery and commercial EV fleets. Its solution combines IoT tracking, data analytics, predictive maintenance, and asset management to extend battery life and lower operating costs. The company has already deployed nearly 1,500 batteries across multiple Indian cities, demonstrating early market traction. Flowatt targets e-commerce and quick-commerce logistics operators, helping them shift battery ownership from a capital expense to a subscription model. Management plans to scale to more than 20,000 high-performance batteries, reach over Rs 2.5 crore in monthly recurring revenue, and expand into 15+ Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities by FY 2026-27. The freshly raised capital will be used to complete its battery proof of concept, refine technology, form strategic alliances with insurers, financiers, and OEMs, and hire across tech, business development, and operations.
