Overview
Flower develops a technical platform for optimization and control of distributed energy resources, enabling management of home batteries, EV chargers and utility-scale solar, wind and battery parks to help balance the grid. The company combines advanced software with flexible energy assets and positions itself as a leading battery-storage and energy-trading player in Sweden. Flower reported rapid revenue growth, from SEK 10 million in 2022 to roughly SEK 100 million in 2023, and expects continued growth in 2024. It has secured partnerships such as a collaboration with Kalmar Energi for a 5 MW/5 MWh battery project and is pursuing further project development in Germany and other European markets. Founded in 2020 by John Diklev, Flower aims to expand quickly into selected European markets and has nearly SEK 600 million available for investments following recent financing.
