FlowGen

General-Guisan-Street 6, Zug, 6300, Switzerland

Overview

Switzerland-based FlowGen has engineered a composite, carbon- and natural-fibre wind turbine rotor that delivers higher output at lower rotational speeds and with smaller blades than conventional designs. The patented production process converts raw materials into finished turbine components in under ten minutes, drawing on techniques from high-performance automotive manufacturing to enable rapid, scalable output. These turbines sit at the heart of the company’s modular Green Centres, which integrate wind, solar generation, battery storage, Siemens inverters and energy-management software to create secure microgrids for ports, airports, defence sites and EV-charging hubs. FlowGen has already deployed several such systems and reports confirmed collaborations with Siemens and other technology partners. The company has mapped out a €912 million project pipeline slated for delivery over the next 12–36 months. Following the new capital infusion it projects first-year revenues of €20.6 million, rising to €87 million by 2028.
