Overview
Flowty is a peer-to-peer NFT lending platform built on the Flow blockchain that facilitates loans between borrowers and lenders. Borrowers create listings specifying desired loan amount, rate and duration, and lenders choose assets and deploy capital, earning yield or receiving the asset on default. Flowty takes a fee from each funded loan and holds the collateral asset until the loan period ends. Loans can be denominated in Flow blockchain stablecoins FUSD and tUSDT; the platform recently added support for FLOW and USDC. The company announced $4.5M in funding, which it will use to further platform development and expand its engineering and development team. Co‑founder Michael Levy, an early NBA Top Shot investor, described the marketplace as the first core feature and said the company is building additional products aimed at the financialization of NFTs. Dapper Labs participated in the funding round alongside Stermion, Tiny VC, Luno Expeditions and Red Beard Ventures.
