Founded in 2024, Flowy develops proprietary software and wireless-sensor technology that monitors passenger flows in real time and automates fare collection. Its platform has two core products: People Flowy, which delivers origin-destination analytics to help operators match service frequency to demand, and Flowypass, a smartphone-based ticketing system that automatically detects journeys and applies dynamic pricing without manual validation. The solution is already field-tested through collaborations with more than 15 rail and road transport operators. By replacing static planning and traditional ticketing, Flowy aims to boost operational efficiency and rider experience while supporting greener urban mobility. The company has secured €1 million in fresh seed funding, building on an earlier €350 thousand round, to reinforce execution in Italy and prepare for international expansion. Investors include CDP Venture Capital’s CrossConnect program, Plug and Play Tech Center, and ELIS Innovation Hub.
