Fluently builds an AI coach that gives near-native speakers feedback and tips on spoken English by recording and transcribing their side of real-life calls (for example, Zoom). The product also offers AI practice partners — “Ryan” for daily chit-chat and “Kyle” for mock interviews — aimed at improving pronunciation, grammar, pace and vocabulary to boost understandability. The startup emphasizes background use, surfacing only the issues a user needs to fix, and positions itself as a one-stop shop for moving from nearly fluent to fully proficient. Fluently stores audio locally, uses encryption, and says data sent to third-party AI providers for transcription is anonymized and not used for training.
