Fluid Analytics develops monitoring solutions for water infrastructure health, waterway conditions, and the large-scale spread of water-transmitted diseases. The company says it has tracked spills totaling over 400 million gallons (1.5 billion liters) of urban wastewater and enabled the treatment and reuse of more than 200 million gallons (800 million liters) of wastewater every day. It currently monitors over 17.5 million people for water-borne illnesses linked to sewage spills. Fluid Analytics partners with utilities, contractors, and engineering firms to help cities address water pollution in a sustainable manner. In a Pre-Series A round the company raised $1.6 million from Pravega Ventures and an angel investor and said the funds will be used for a global scale-up expansion with an emphasis on North America. The company was founded by Nidhi Jain and Asim R. Bhalerao. Pravega Ventures focuses on seed and pre-Series A investments and lists Cashinvoice, GrayQuest, Fyle, SalarySe, and Crofarm (now Otipy) in its portfolio.
