Flyr is a Santa Monica-based adtech company whose mobile platform enables anyone, from professional designers to complete novices, to produce and customize TV-quality ads directly on an iPhone or iPad. Launched in January 2018 by Hassan Uriostegui, the app uses drag-and-drop templates and automation to dramatically shorten production times compared with conventional video-editing workflows. The company has already amassed more than 13,000 paid subscribers who have generated over one million advertising projects on the platform. Flyr has also signed a strategic partnership with Snapchat, providing Snapchat’s user base with specialized tools for high-quality ad creation.
