The company converts each house into a property-specific limited company with 12 shares, letting buyers purchase a share that corresponds to a proportion of annual stays. Flyway provides proprietary planning technology, a marketplace to buy and sell shares, and professional property management (cleaning, repairs, maintenance). Owners access reservations, shared expense supervision, communication with a dedicated ‘home manager’, and phone-based home unlocking via the app. The startup raised $10 million in a seed and debt round, and the fresh cash will enable it to buy and sell its first London properties. Flyway was founded by Nikos Drandakis and Sanja Ilic and is based in London and Athens.
