Foghorn Therapeutics was developed and launched by Flagship Pioneering through its Flagship VentureLabs innovation foundry and established operations in 2016. The company uses a proprietary Gene Traffic Control™ product platform that yields insights into chromatin regulation to discover and develop treatments. Since founding, Foghorn has created six programs and built a discovery engine that is generating additional targets. It is developing drug candidates across a range of cancers and is exploring applications of Gene Traffic Control in neurology and immunology. Leadership includes CEO Adrian Gottschalk and founders Cigall Kadoch, Douglas Cole, and Gerald Crabtree. The company recently raised $50M in funding.
