FolioMetrix is an investment management research company that develops tactical asset management products and distribution programs for portfolio managers, financial advisors and institutions across the United States. The firm was co-founded in 2009 by CEO Jerry Murphey and Greg Rutherford and is based in Portland, OR and Omaha, NE. In 2013 the company launched RiskX, a liquid ’40 Act mutual fund platform dedicated to tactical asset management. RiskX exceeded $200m in assets under management as of December 2, 2014. FolioMetrix’s product lineup centers on tactical risk investing and supporting distribution to institutional and advisor channels. In November 2015 the company completed a new funding round to bolster its financial position.
