FoodSt is an online marketplace founded by Lorraine Gnanadickam and her husband, Sanjay, that enables home cooks to sell prepared meals. The platform has sold more than 15,000 meals and hosts 25 cooks offering over 100 different meals across a range of cuisines. Meals are pre-ordered on a minimum $70 spend and are delivered frozen once a week. The business emphasizes flexible income and employment opportunities for cooks, including those on maternity leave and immigrant sellers with limited English.
