Overview
ForCity develops an urban simulation platform used by public and private stakeholders across energy, environment, urban planning and real estate to anticipate challenges and optimize planning by simulating multiple scenarios. The tool is positioned to help manage services and infrastructures in cities. Founded in 2014 and led by Thomas Lagier (CEO), Jean-Marc Kerisit (CTO) and François Grosse (President), the company employs over 82 people across Lyon, Rennes and Paris. Clients include Veolia, Dalkia (EDF group), Keolis and a range of public authorities such as Greater Lyon and the Île-de-France water authority. The company closed €8m in funding and intends to use the proceeds to boost its international endeavours while maintaining and increasing investment in technology. ForCity focuses on expanding its market reach while continuing product and technology development.
