Forky is an Athens-based mobile platform for food delivery. The service currently covers only a small part of central Athens and advertises delivery times of about 10–15 minutes after an order. Forky uses a special algorithm that organizes deliveries and routes to enable those fast delivery windows. The company has secured foreign equity funding totaling €800,000 in a first funding round. Main investors include Jeremie Openfund II, London-based Blue Wire Capital, and angels associated with a Greek capital fund, whose participation represents the fund's first movement into the Greek startup scene and which plans further investments.
