Founda Health has built a platform that connects hospitals with modern healthtech apps, enabling doctors to select, test, and implement apps into their workflows. The service is free for healthcare providers, who can request unlimited connectivity. App developers gain faster scaling and access to new markets as Founda connects them with international EHR systems. For EHR partners, Founda handles all required localization per market. Founder and CEO Jan Joost Kalff brings fintech experience from founding payments service Dimebox, which was acquired by Verifone in 2018. The company says the platform approach will eventually benefit patients and improve patient outcomes; it has raised $15 million in seed funding to support its development and expansion.
