FranklinWH, founded in 2019 and based in San Jose, develops residential energy management and storage solutions. It manufactures the Franklin Home Power system, an integrated whole-home energy management system with AC‑coupled storage comprising the aPower battery and the aGate intelligent power control system. The aPower battery is described as offering the highest LFP AC capacity on the market, and the system is pre-assembled for fast, easy installation. After just over one year on the American market, FranklinWH has onboarded over 1,000 installation companies through its FranklinWH Certified Installer program. The company intends to use the Series B proceeds to expand R&D, optimize its supply chain, and scale operations and its sales network. FranklinWH was originally funded by Sequoia Capital.
