Freedom Robotics is a Bay Area startup that came out of stealth to help companies control and monitor large- and small-scale robotics fleets. Its platform is designed for out-of-the-box operation and is customizable via an API, with the company saying users can get started “with just one line of code.” The offering minimizes the technical expertise required to implement robotics infrastructure and is positioned as a turn-key solution for both large-company robotic teams and small robotics startups. Co-founder and CEO Josh Wilson describes the product as an AWS-type product for robotics. The company announced a $6.6 million seed round to build the team and core infrastructure technology.
