Fresha operates a booking marketplace for beauty and wellness businesses, providing scheduling and related platform services to salons and independent professionals. Founded in 2015 and based in London, the company has expanded its merchant footprint to more than 140,000 businesses. Those businesses are booking over 35 million appointments per month on Fresha, or more than a billion appointments annually. The company previously reported about 60,000 businesses and more than 150,000 professionals across 120 countries in 2021, showing substantial growth since then. Fresha has raised $285 million in total funding to date, including the recent $80 million growth equity investment from KKR. Fresha intends to use the new capital to expand into additional countries and develop AI features for its platform.
