Freto operates a digital broker platform that handles contracting, scheduling, document issuance, monitoring and payments for road cargo, combining technology with offline logistics know-how. The company positions itself as a “digital‑raiz” transportadora able to serve low/medium value industries and manage fully digital journeys while addressing offline market inertia. Since its 2018 founding, Freto reports moving more than 100 million tonnes across over 3.6 million trips, corresponding to R$13 billion in contracted freight. The platform has over 180,000 qualified truck drivers and more than 50 customers across agribusiness, steel, construction, consumer goods and mining. Freto says 99.4% of deliveries occur effectively, 99% are not late, and 70% of contracts are executed within five hours—metrics it uses to drive efficiency and client retention. The company closed a R$12.3 million follow‑on and plans to scale a region‑focused commercial strategy while targeting >50% revenue growth in 2024, more than doubling contribution margin and reaching financial breakeven in the first half of 2024. Freto operates a digital marketplace and 100% digital broker that connects shippers and truck drivers, offering route analysis, flow and cost control for large producers and industrial clients. The company began as an intrapreneurial initiative inside Grupo da Ticket and has since become independent. It aims to become the largest freight platform in Latin America and plans to expand with support from strategic investors. Freto reports more than 125,000 drivers and 300,000 registered vehicles, intermediating over 150,000 tonnes of cargo through roughly 3,500 daily matches. Since the start of the pandemic its app downloads rose 30% and its Play Store rating is 4.4/5; in 2020 the logtech nearly tripled revenue. Leadership has been refreshed with Thomas Gautier, a former Edenred executive, appointed CEO to lead the company’s next phase.
