Frey is a NYC-based clothing care brand that sells concentrated garment-care products including Detergent Concentrate, Wrinkle Releaser, Fabric Conditioner, Dryer Sheets, Universal Refresher, Travel Essentials Kit and Clothing Care Kit. Led by Leif and Erin Robert Frey, the company's formulations omit sulfates, parabens and synthetic dyes and instead use biodegradable, plant-derived surfactants, stain-fighting enzymes and essential oils. The products are highly concentrated to minimize waste and maximize effectiveness. Frey completed Y Combinator’s program in San Francisco. The company closed a $2.4m seed round and intends to use the funds for growth and to diversify its fragrance options. Additional scent lines will add more natural and neutral fragrances to broaden choices for current and new customers.
