The company has acquired over 45,000 new customers for its car coverage since it was founded. FRIDAY aims to be Germany’s most popular digital insurer by 2021 and plans to use new funding to stimulate growth and further product development. The insurer has worked with ProSiebenSat.1 and media companies in the German Media Pool for two years to support marketing and distribution. The financing includes a media-for-equity component intended to fund advertising campaigns and broaden brand reach across TV, radio, out-of-home and print.
