Friendsee is a social live video network that enables users to broadcast live video directly from their mobile phones to social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. The company has developed both an application and underlying technology to support mobile live streaming. Its iOS app was released to the market at the end of 2012. Friendsee was founded by Dror Alony and is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The company completed a $1M first financing round; the backers were not revealed. Friendsee is now searching for a second round of funding.
