Fuego produces patented dance sneakers engineered for dancing and spinning on any surface and worn by dancers in 120 countries. The company sells tech-enabled, dance-inspired athleisure and lifestyle products across formats including hip-hop, ballroom, salsa, dance fitness, swing, ballet and jazz. Fuego has collaborated on product drops such as the Jade x Fuego low-top made with recycled plastic water bottles. Led by CEO Kevin Weschler, the company is focusing on new product development and global expansion. The recent financing will provide capital to continue product development and support international growth. An investor from the round, New World Angels, will have a representative join Fuego’s board as an observer.
