Overview
FullCircl offers a single platform, API and applications designed to align customer acquisition and revenue growth with regulatory compliance, embedding KYC/KYB, AML and identity verification from the start. The company was created two years ago through the integration of Artesian Solutions, DueDil and W2 Global Data and is positioned as an alternative to fragmented point solutions. FullCircl reports strong operating momentum: its best-ever quarter, three consecutive quarters of significant growth, a 96% year‑on‑year increase in new order intake, double-digit compound revenue growth and maintained EBITDA positivity; the company says it has been profitable for a long period. Operational scale metrics include serving over 500 customers, 15,000+ web application users, processing over 300 million checks per month, facilitating onboarding of 200,000+ customers annually and performing over half a billion activities each month for customers. Future plans funded by the recent financing include extensive product development in transaction monitoring, expanding AI capabilities, growing share of the identity verification market, deepening Smart capabilities and strengthening strategic partnerships. DueDil provides up-to-date private company and director information via an API, with access to data across 22 countries. Described as the largest source of private company information in the UK and Ireland, the product simplifies what was previously tortuous and expensive. The company intends to use new funding to boost product development and expand into new countries, embedding discovery tools, platforms and networks into daily workflows. CEO Damian Kimmelman frames the vision as delivering real-time decision intelligence by integrating data into business decision-making. DueDil raised $17M in a Series B led by Oak Investment Partners, bringing total funding to $22M over the past 10 months. Since its Series A in April 2013 the company says it has doubled in size, increased its blue-chip enterprise customer base, and won several awards. Duedil builds a data analytics and visualization engine that leverages open government data to help companies conduct due diligence. The platform lets users research corporate structure and visualize shareholders and investments in mind-map form. Duedil offers up to 20 years of information on companies registered in the UK and Ireland and opened an API developed with Mashery. It has also developed a new credit rating service noted for its analytical approach and distinctive visual design. The service is currently available free or will be offered on a subscription basis in the future. The company benefits from UK open-data policies and plans to extend its network across the European Union as open data becomes available. Duedil provides free access to company financials and corporate data, aggregating over 30 billion data points on every company and director in the UK and Ireland. The startup is preparing a business data API and additional services to commercialize its dataset. CEO Damian Kimmelman said the latest funds will be used to expand the team and grow its data science department. Recent hires include Naaman Tammuz (with a PhD in Atomic Physics from Cambridge) and Ahmed Medhat (Oxford graduate) to develop machine learning and network analysis capabilities. TechCrunch reports Duedil has raised continued financing and is now into seven figures; terms of the rounds have not been disclosed. The company previously completed a seed round in December led by Jonty Hurwitz. Duedil is described in the article as a business reputation startup. It secured first prize in the GeeknRolla startup competition. DFJ Esprit announced it would award the winner a £50,000 no-strings investment in the form of a convertible note. The convertible note is set to convert into the company’s next funding round at the price of that round. The DFJ Esprit announcement was made within hours of Duedil’s three-minute pitch on stage. Duedil also won a year of Windows Azure hosting, £5,000 in free legal advice from Orrick, and a year of premium job advertisements on CoderStack (normally £120 per ad per month).
