Overview
Furhat Robotics builds a conversational operating system and a projected-face robot that mimics human personality, gesture and intonation using computer animation and projection. Its "brain" is a social intelligence platform that can be programmed to participate in socially-aware interactions with humans. Early applications include education and training, therapy and social care, customer service, and entertainment. The company was founded in 2014 as a spin-off from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Furhat collaborates with Honda, Intel, Merck, KPMG and other Fortune 500 companies. It raised seed funding to support continued development of its intelligence and commercial deployments.
