Fuselage Innovations develops drone-based solutions to boost farm yields by identifying pests and applying inputs precisely. Its two drones—Niriksh (sensor-equipped for early pest and nutrient-deficiency detection) and Fiya (for targeted pesticide and fertiliser application)—work together to diagnose and treat crops. Founded in 2020 and based at Maker Village, Kalamassery, the founders launched the company after completing engineering degrees. Over the last three years the startup has worked with more than 4,000 farmers in Kerala and reports yield improvements of about 35%. The team says it will use the new grant to develop an innovative product for the marine sector, indicating a planned product expansion beyond agriculture. The company has also competed internationally, having come top in the AgriTech4 Innovation Challenge in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
