Fusion Garage designs and develops touch-screen computing devices and related hardware. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Singapore, the company is positioning a new generation of products with multiple screen sizes. The new products are slated for market in the first half of 2011 and will run on a new operating system based partially on Google’s Android. The company plans to use the recently raised capital to fund new product development. To support development, Fusion Garage more than doubled its staff and opened development centers in Bangalore, India and Nanjing, China. Its reported funding and expansion activity indicate active investment in product and engineering capacity.
