Fusion-io develops flash-based memory chips and storage technologies designed to deliver very high data-access speeds and to store data in smaller devices. The company named David Bradford as CEO (he spent 15 years at Novell and reported to Eric Schmidt in his last three years there), and Apple co‑founder Steve Wozniak joined as chief scientist; Fusion-io reported more than 300 customers.
