FuturePlus is a sustainability management and ESG reporting platform developed by The Sustainability Group that provides simple, rigorous indicators aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and recognised sustainability standards and certification indexes. The platform enables clients to set, track and improve sustainability ambitions across themes including Climate, Economic, Diversity & Inclusion, Social and Environment. FuturePlus reports that its clients have collectively set over 4,200 sustainability ambitions and achieved more than 2,700 goals, demonstrating measurable progression in sustainability maturity. The company says it measures its own sustainability on the platform, reporting positive impact on 16 of the UN’s 17 SDGs and a 36% reduction in its scope 1 and 2 emissions. FuturePlus has established a presence in the USA, the Caribbean, Australia, Mauritius and Ukraine in addition to its UK and EMEA client base, and counts clients and partners such as Soho House, Moda Living Management, Lore Group, London and Regional, England and Wales Cricket Board, Football Foundation, Totally Money, WithIntelligence, Sustainable Ventures, CorpCare and IREP. The business has added Ashish Devi-King as Chairman and Darren Smith as Board Advisor. It plans to use new funding to develop the FuturePlus platform and product portfolio, onboard staff and sustain client growth through marketing and PR. FuturePlus provides an ESG measurement, management and reporting platform that enables organisations to measure, manage and report their sustainable growth in real time. Co-founded by Alexandra Smith and Mike Penrose and based in London, the platform serves clients across finance, technology, hospitality, the built environment and retail. It currently has over 150 clients. The company raised £750K in funding from Two Magnolias, Vala Capital and other individuals and family offices. FuturePlus intends to use the funds to invest in team capacity, further develop the platform, and run new marketing and PR campaigns. The product is positioned to help organisations of any size and type improve sustainability and report to employees and stakeholders.
