Founded in February 2018, Galactic Energy Aerospace Technology has built a reputation for reliability with its light-lift Ceres-1 solid rocket. The company is now advancing two major product lines: the reusable, kerosene-LOX Pallas series and the higher-capacity Ceres-2 solid rocket. Pallas-1 is designed to lift 7,000 kg to a 200-km LEO, while the planned Pallas-2 could carry 20,000-58,000 kg depending on its single-stick or tri-core configuration, with a debut launch targeted for 2026. On 28 September the firm completed a 220-second static fire of Pallas-1’s second stage and is preparing the vehicle for an orbital test flight from Jiuquan later this year. Ceres-2, capable of 1,600 kg to 500-km LEO, has finished final assembly and will launch soon with six satellites. The company raised $154 million in Series C funding in late 2023 and has now secured a further $336 million in Series D financing, underscoring strong governmental and provincial backing. These funds are earmarked for rocket development as well as new production, testing, and launch facilities.
