Galeneo Health is a Madrid-based startup that orchestrates on-demand and in-person delocalised medical services and procedures at scale, delivering hospital-level care in patients' homes. Since launching in 2021, Galeneo has performed more than 18,000 medical services and enabled over 1,000 patients and their families to receive hospitalisation at home under medical prescription and supervision. All inpatient services are carried out with medical prescription and supervision and the company works with national and international health centres and doctors as partners. With the new funding, Galeneo intends to scale sales nationwide and improve and continue development of its technology platform to enhance patient and family experience and streamline interaction among healthcare professionals and providers. The company also plans to consolidate a B2B model for clinics and hospitals and expand collaborations with the public sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Galeneo positions its service as a way to increase hospital capacity cost-efficiently while maintaining continuity and quality of care.
