The company positions itself as a B2B provider serving health, property & casualty, and life insurance markets. Galileo plans to partner with both disruptors and incumbent insurers, distributors and reinsurers to expand insurance access to the uninsured in Asia and globally. The company was formed in May 2016 and is led by Chair Annette King and CEO Mark Wales. In October 2018 Galileo completed a US$2M Series A investment led by Greenlight Re Innovations to accelerate its growth.
