Beijing 小马奔腾传媒股份有限公司 is a media and entertainment company whose businesses include film and TV production, distribution and TV advertising. In 2010 the company produced and distributed five films and five television series. The company completed a major financial and structural milestone by completing a new RMB 750 million private financing round and an offshore-to-domestic restructuring. That transaction made 小马奔腾 the first domestic media-entertainment company to achieve a red-chip return and positioned it to pursue an A-share listing. The financing was led by 建银国际文化产业股权投资基金 (the newly established 建银文化产业基金) with participation from 开信创投, multiple RMB funds and several individual investors. 易凯资本有限公司 served as the company’s exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.
