Galore operates a mobile platform that enables parents to discover and book activities, classes, camps and child care tailored by location, age group and interest. The service, available on iOS and Android, is currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area. Galore offers free software for local providers to manage online registrations, payments and customer communications, and connects individual instructors directly with parents. To date the company has partnered with more than 125 providers and offers upward of 3,000 activity options each month. Founded in 2015 by Jeff Levinsohn and Max Haines-Stiles, Galore plans to use new funding to further develop its mobile apps and provider tools and to add more partners in the Bay Area and beyond. It recently raised $1.65M in seed funding to support those efforts.
