Game Space bills itself as the first GameFi-as-a-Service platform, offering an SDK that enables games and apps to add blockchain functions, NFT distribution and trading in as little as seven days. It runs a fully functional, embeddable NFT marketplace with multi-chain deployment across BSC, ETH, Polygon, Solana, Heco, Flow and more, targeting AAA Web2 studios and titles. The company ran a Genesis NFT AirDrop for Steam users from July 28 to August 28, partnering with more than ten institutions including ByBit, Gate.io, Huobi, KuCoin Wallet and BitKeep, and says that event coincided with almost 400% user growth since July 2022. In the first two weeks of August Game Space recorded over 50,000 downloads and Steam-connected registrations, reported 13,820 active wallets in August, and its NFT marketplace transaction volume rose by over 50%. Game Space recently added Polygon support and says dozens of games are testing and integrating its GaaS services via the SDK. It recently secured $10 million in a Seed investment round from Huobi, Mirana Ventures and other top-tier investment institutions, and the company has hinted that a first AAA Web2 game is coming online soon alongside a major announcement.
