GameAnalytics provides a free analytics platform that gives game developers a granular view of player behavior and monetization metrics. The platform offers pre-defined metrics on player counts, acquisition sources, purchase rates, session length, popular content, and churn points to help optimize game design and business decisions. It has attracted roughly 14,000 registered game developers whose combined games reach over 500 million unique players. The startup has not yet monetized the service; management says paid offerings will launch early next year as the company reaches scale. Planned paid, value-adding services are being developed with a focus on helping indie developers improve commercial performance. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen and also maintains a sales office in London and a development hub in Berlin. Game Analytics offers a game-centric data analytics platform that breaks player actions into discrete, trackable data points and aggregates them for developer-facing analysis. Its tools give developers granular insight into player behavior, retention drivers, progression issues, and monetization choices, enabling A/B tests and design adjustments. The platform is cross-platform (web, mobile and potential console support) with SDKs for iOS and Android and integrations for game engines including Corona, cocos2D, and Unity; the Unity plugin provides a 3D heatmap. The company operates a freemium model: a free tier allows tracking 20 million data points per month, while paid tiers scale up to 1 billion data points per month. Roughly 100 games have tapped into the platform to date. With $2.5M in new funding, CEO Morten Wulff says the company will increase marketing and expand internationally with a North American office (San Francisco or Vancouver) and a new office in China.
