Overview
GameChanger Analytics is building a multi-sensor, ultrawideband-enabled wearable system that tracks soccer players’ physical, technical and tactical performance in real time. Each athlete typically wears about 12 sensors, including smart insoles, that feed data to anchors around the field to capture x, y and z positioning and measure force distribution to infer hydration within 2 % accuracy. An on-device AI engine delivers haptic alerts to athletes and live dashboards to coaches, helping prevent over-training injuries and improve skill development. The company’s initial go-to-market approach is B2B, selling subscriptions to clubs and academies at $200 per player per month, with a $50 per month individual tier also available, and a broader direct-to-consumer option planned. Pilot users already include academies and teams in Liga MX, MLS Next and the ECNL, and the team is in discussions with FIFA for in-match certification. Founded by former medical-sensor engineer Ralph Beaudouin and supported by Chief Strategy Officer and ex-pro player Chris Roselli, the Bay Area startup will run a limited launch in January ahead of a full commercial release in Q2 2026. Soccer is the initial focus, but the technology is designed to extend to additional sports. To fund these plans, the company has raised $3.25 million toward a targeted $5 million seed round.
