Gamedex builds a platform for blockchain-powered digital collectible cards and digital collectible card games similar to Pokemon, Hearthstone, Magic: The Gathering and FIFA Ultimate Team. The company raised $800K in seed funding that was purchased as Gamedex tokens (GDX) rather than equity. The seed round was led by Invictus Capital via its Hyperion fund. Gamedex intends to use the funds to continue building its platform. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Cameron Garvie. It is planning a public GDX token sale for late 2018.
