Gametime Hero
10 S. Riverside Plaza, Ste 875, Chicago, IL, 60606, United States
Overview
Gametime Hero provides a free platform for official and community sports organizers to list clubs, clinics, and pick-up events so adults can find activities that match their skill levels. The app targets barriers to entry for beginners and aims to make it easier for newcomers to join established groups. Founders Brittany Bell (CEO) and AR Bell (CTO, a former Google software engineer) are first-time entrepreneurs. The product released a beta last fall and will officially launch in July, with a launch party scheduled for July 29 in Minneapolis. The app currently operates in the Twin Cities and Seattle, with plans to expand across the United States and possibly internationally. Financially, Gametime Hero received $100,000 from the MSP Equity Accelerator—its first large funding after earlier crowdfunding—and will use the funds to accelerate sales and marketing.
