Garden, based in Berlin, provides an open source development automation platform for Kubernetes and cloud-native applications. Led by CEO and co-founder Jon Edvald, the company has launched Garden Enterprise to help DevOps engineers unify development, testing and CI across all stages. The platform offers production-like in-cluster environments, efficient integration and end-to-end testing, and reliable code review and QA workflows. Garden Core has been available as open source since 2018 and has a vibrant user community, with deployments at Fortune 500 companies and other organizations with complex systems. The company plans to use new funding to build out engineering, sales and marketing teams and to support its user and customer base. Financially, Garden completed a €3.1M seed round to fund these efforts.
