Gavmild is a Danish insurance challenger that went live in February with a mission to push insurance prices down for consumers. The company distributes policies via Easysure Denmark and relies on the Swedish carrier Eir Försäkring to underwrite risk. In its first ten months it has sold more than 35,000 policies, protecting roughly 10,000 households. Gavmild employs nearly 100 people and expects to turn a profit within five years. Management plans to triple its policy portfolio next year and enter at least one additional Nordic market before 2028, ultimately targeting 100,000 insured households. Including the latest round, the startup has secured DKK 45 million in funding to fuel these ambitions.
