Gemdale Gold focuses on discovering and developing gold and critical-minerals deposits in Finland, where it has amassed a portfolio of exploration licences over the last eight years. Its flagship Pontio Gold Project in Western Finland has already seen more than 10,000 metres of drilling and shows near-surface gold mineralisation along an interpreted four-kilometre strike on the M2 Trend. The company also controls the Isoneva gold project, several Lapland licences, the Kumiseva copper-nickel-platinum-palladium permit and the Savo/Rantasalmi gold application area, which hosts a historical inferred resource of 276,000 ounces of gold. Gemdale’s exploration strategy includes additional drilling to delineate known zones and advancing optioned properties such as Isoneva, where Nordique Resources can earn full ownership by funding exploration. Proceeds from its latest financing will be directed toward these exploration programs and general corporate purposes. Financially, the firm has just strengthened its balance sheet with a C$2.4 million strategic placement, leaving Eldorado Gold with roughly 9.5 % of its shares outstanding (13.6 % on a partially diluted basis).
