GenCell Energy (TASE: GNCL) is an Israeli manufacturer of fuel-cell energy solutions that deliver affordable, clean backup and primary power by producing hydrogen-on-demand from anhydrous ammonia. Its products target diesel-replacement backup power for utilities, homeland security, healthcare, automated industries, off-grid and poor-grid rural electrification. The company highlights a revolutionary ammonia-to-hydrogen process, proprietary IP and more than 90 employees with a worldwide distribution and support network. In early 2021 it announced closer cooperation with TDK to develop green ammonia and has positioned that work as a key part of its roadmap. GenCell is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and completed an institutional equity investment in April 2021.
