Overview
Jincraft was founded in August 2020 from the research team of Professor Bae Seok‑cheol at Chungbuk Medical School to translate decades of cancer‑mechanism research into gene therapies. The company’s lead program is RX001, a KRAS-targeted gene therapy for lung cancer, which it aims to advance into a combined Phase 1/2a this year. Jincraft has developed a high-efficiency AAV vector platform that enables custom production across different genes and is expanding into a contract research/development organization (CRDO) business using that technology. Management says the company completed meetings with the Korean regulatory authority and is preparing an IND submission in the first half of the year after collecting additional data per guidance. The recent financing will fund drug manufacture for Phase 1 and the scaling of the CRDO business. Jincraft is also in talks with global investors for follow-on funding to accelerate international expansion.
