GeneMe has developed and patented a universal polymerase for RT-LAMP testing, enabling highly accurate, rapid molecular COVID-19 tests. The company offers three molecular NAAT tests: FRANKD, SAVD and ICED. FRANKD is CE IVD‑approved and has an FDA EUA application pending, and the solution is already used in over twenty countries. Official Scottish government research identified FRANKD as the most accurate rapid COVID-19 test on the market. FRANKD has been deployed at customers including Heathrow Airport, Virgin Atlantic and the TV show Britain’s Got Talent. GeneMe is a spin‑out from the Institute of Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine (IBMM) and recently partnered with U.S. lyophilization leader BIOLYPH to scale up FRANKD and SAVD; leadership has said it envisions expanding into at‑home genetic analysis for predispositions and traits.
