General Medical Merate (GMM) manufactures and supplies X-ray diagnostics, including radiographic systems, remote-controlled systems and specialized units. Founded in 1952 and based in Seriate (Bergamo), Italy, the company is majority-controlled by the Sordi family through the holding company GMM Italia SpA and is led by President Massimo Sordi. GMM employs about 250 people and reported turnover of €68m in 2011. The company offers a broad range of X-ray equipment to healthcare providers and aims to complete its product offering.
