Genesis offers a finance-focused low-code/no-code application platform it calls “buy to build,” aimed at professional developers in the financial markets. The company said its recurring revenue has nearly tripled in under nine months since its Series B, though it declined to disclose valuation or hard revenue figures. Headcount has grown from about 50 employees at the end of 2021 to over 200 today; the company describes itself as global with leadership primarily located in the U.S. Genesis plans to use new capital to expand its platform and developer community, enhance go-to-market efforts, hire more staff, and may ultimately expand into other regulated sectors such as healthcare and manufacturing.
