Geneva Healthcare builds a cardiac device data management suite that transforms device data into actionable information for providers, physicians, payers and patients. Founded in 2011 by CEO Kai Worrell, the company’s dashboard presents patient data and syncs with electronic medical records and health information exchanges. The suite is already used in emergency departments and hospitals across Southern California, and Geneva has focused on implementing the suite in key hospitals while collecting data and measuring value. The company raised $1.83M in its first round of financing. Geneva intends to use the funds to advance software development and grow its sales force to expand its reach to hospital systems and healthcare networks nationwide.
